Warm white LED bulbs are suitable for lounges, hallways, bedroom where people relax.

The enerx 9 watt LED light is designed to replace a 75w incandescent or 15 watt compact fluorescent lamp (CFL).

Each 9 watt LED bulb emits 800 (2800k) to 840 (4300k) lumens of light at an angle of 150°.

They are compact in size being only 60mm Ø and 117mm long.  This makes them perfect for recessed down lights in modern housing.

Dimmable with trailing edge dimmer.

Enerx bulbs contain NO MERCURY, Toxic or Dangerous substances. They transmit NO infrared or UV radiation.

enerx Dimmable LED Bulbs

Important facts for dimming LED light bulbs.

Dimming of LED bulbs is only possible if the bulbs have been manufactured to be dimmed. Installing standard non dimmable LED bulbs in a dimmable lighting circuit will only result in the bulbs continually glowing at full brightness even if the dimmer has been turned down to minimum. This is because each enerx LED bulb is fitted with its own driver that can produce full output voltage to the LED chips even when the input voltage can be between 85 to 265 volts AC.

Use the right Dimmer

When dimming LED light bulbs it is important that you use the right type of dimmer module.

Power Wise recommends that all enerx dimmable LED bulbs are dimmed using a Trailing Edge Dimmer module. A universal light dimmer is also acceptable. Trailing edge dimmers are suitable for all electronic transformers.

Do not connect trailing edge dimmers to inductive loads such as low voltage lighting with iron core transformers.

Loading of LED bulbs on a Dimmer

When dimming LED light bulbs, the total load on a dimmer should be calculated by adding the total wattage of the LED bulbs on the circuit and multiplying by 4. This is because each dimmable LED bulb has its own driver which can cause extra pressure on a dimmer. E.G. if you have 10 x 9 watt LED bulbs on one circuit the Minimal size dimmer required is 360 watts. 10 x 9 x 4 = 360.

Minimum Loads

Be aware that most trailing edge dimmers have a minimum load required of 20 watts. Ensure that the total wattage of your LED bulbs on one circuit is more than the minimum load of the dimmer.
